THE ART OF DECEPTION

Hailing from Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, The Art of Deception is a group of 4 friends united by their love of metal music. Releasing 2 EP's and a multitude of singles throughout the 8 years of being a band. Despite multiple challenges and lineup changes, the band released their lead single "Despondency" off their upcoming EP "Imminence" on 6.9.23. “Anguish” was released shortly after on 9.8.23.

The Art of Deception was formed with the goal in mind to make and share the music we love with the world, and we still continue that aspiration.

The Art of Deception has a lot in store for 2024! TAOD plans on hitting the road full force, along with releasing their upcoming EP “Imminence”!

"𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘩" is a self-reflection on one’s own doubts, insecurities, and trust issues. Having lost several friends due to misunderstandings, Nolan reflected inward on who he was as a person. During that time, he became extremely depressed and began to lose sight of himself, feeling like he was a burden to everyone he knew.
